Tix.lk provides a convenient platform for purchasing tickets or registering for events online. By buying tickets or registering for an event via Tix.lk, you agree to the following terms.

Definitions

• Tix.lk refers to the legal entity operating the website, which facilitates ticket sales and event registrations.
• Website refers to www.tix.lk and any related online platforms used for ticket sales.
• Customer refers to any individual or organization purchasing tickets or registering for events via the Website.
• Organizer refers to any person or entity responsible for organizing and promoting an event listed on the Website.
• Event refers to any activity promoted on the Website, including but not limited to concerts, sports, educational, business, and entertainment events.
• Ticket refers to an entry pass, whether digital or physical, purchased through the Website.
• Services refers to the services provided by Tix.lk to facilitate ticket sales, event promotion, and payment processing.

Ticket Purchase Policy

• Tickets purchased on Tix.lk are non-refundable except under limited conditions stated in the Refund Policy.
• Tickets cannot be exchanged except as per the Refund Policy.
• Tickets cannot be transferred to third parties for resale at a price higher than the original purchase price.
• If Tix.lk identifies unauthorized resales, it reserves the right to cancel such tickets without a refund.
• Customers must protect their tickets from loss or theft. Tix.lk is not responsible for replacing lost or stolen tickets.
• Payment must be completed at the time of purchase. Fraudulent transactions may result in ticket cancellation without refund.

Ticket Usage Policy and Event Attendance

• Customers must check for event-specific restrictions (e.g., age limit, dress code) before purchasing tickets.
• The Organizer and venue management reserve the right to refuse entry without a refund.
• Security checks may be conducted at the venue.
• Re-entry policies vary by event, and no refunds will be issued for refusal of re-entry.
• Unauthorized photography or recording at events may be prohibited.
• By attending an event, Customers consent to being photographed or recorded, with such media possibly being used for promotional purposes without compensation.

Ticket Delivery and Collection Policy

• Tix.lk issues digital tickets via email as PDF attachments.
• Customers must provide a valid email address and check for ticket delivery confirmation.
• In some cases, physical ticket collection may be required at the venue, subject to presenting proof of purchase and valid identification.

Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable except in the following cases:

• Event cancellation.
• Postponement with no rescheduled date.
• Change of main performer or significant event details.
• Change of event venue significantly different from the original.
• Event timing changes of five or more hours from the original schedule.

• Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of event cancellation or postponement.
• Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
• Tix.lk reserves the right to deduct applicable fees for refunds.
• Refunds will not be granted for minor schedule changes, dissatisfaction with the event, or external disruptions such as weather conditions or technical issues.
• Where an Event is postponed, rescheduled, cancelled, or materially modified, the Event Organizer is solely responsible for determining and funding any refunds, rescheduling arrangements, compensation, or other remedies. Tix.lk will facilitate communication and refund processing where applicable but assumes no liability for the Event Organizer's obligations or decisions.

Role of Tix.lk

• Tix.lk acts solely as a technology platform that facilitates the sale and distribution of event tickets on behalf of Event Organizers. All payments received for ticket purchases are processed for and transferred to the respective Event Organizer in accordance with the applicable commercial arrangements.
• By purchasing a ticket through the Website, Customers acknowledge and agree that Tix.lk provides only the ticketing platform and is not responsible for the organization, management, operation, execution, postponement, rescheduling, cancellation, or financial obligations of any Event.

Liability

• Tix.lk acts solely as an intermediary technology platform connecting Customers with Event Organizers. Tix.lk is not the organizer, promoter, operator, or manager of Events listed on the Website.
• Tix.lk is not responsible for any damages, injuries, losses, cancellations, postponements, rescheduling, changes to Event content, venue, performers, scheduling, or any other Event-related matters. Such matters are the sole responsibility of the relevant Event Organizer.
• In the event of any dispute regarding refunds, compensation, Event delivery, or any financial or contractual obligation arising from an Event, the Event Organizer shall bear sole responsibility. Tix.lk shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from such matters, except where required by applicable law.
• For inquiries regarding ticket purchases, Customers may contact Tix.lk at support@tix.lk with your transaction number, ticket number, email address, full name, and telephone number.Tix.lk may assist in communicating with the Event Organizer but does not guarantee any particular outcome.
